The Gran-D Hearing Aid Full-Shell Hearing Aid is a digital instrument built to match the user's hearing loss. We like to have audiograms (hearing loss charts) if possible. It's very helpful but not absolutely necessary. The more complete of a description of a person's hearing loss, the better able we are to meet the need. The Gran-D Hearing Aid Full-Shell Hearing Aid comes with a volume control wheel. The Full-Shell Hearing Aid aid can be made with up to 60dB of gain, making it appropriate for a wide degree of hearing losses ranging from mild all the way up to severe. Most Full-Shell Hearing Aids also feature venting through the shell which allows the aid to "breathe" while it's being worn. This helps alleviate the sensation of "talking in a barrel" for its wearer.
